About Me
Healing what ails the body and helping maintain one's wellness is at the heart of my passion for massage therapy. My family and I have personally benefited from massage therapy throughout the years and highly recommend it for a number of reasons. I pursued my career in neuromuscular massage so that I could better serve my community. I want to engage people in the idea of healing themselves. I strive to obtain as much knowledge as possible so that I can pass it along to my clients. I am an alumnus of Wingate University, class of 97'. I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in communications and public relations. I also am an alumnus of the Southeastern Institute of Charlotte, North Carolina. I was able to obtain a license to practice in many modalities that are centered around healing and wellness. Some of the modalities that I offer, but, are not limited to include: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point/Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, Hot Stone Treatment, Cupping, Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage, Sports Massage, and Chair Massage.
I am continuously seeking new and better ways to serve my clients. I attend seminars and continuing education courses, taught by nationally accredited practitioners that cover the latest advancements in massage and neuromuscular therapy, in addition to numerous wellness techniques. Through my continuing education, I have gained valuable knowledge in my field that I am excited to share with you. I am a proud member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). I am proud to be recognized as an outstanding therapist by the North Carolina Massage Board (BMBT).
